Mayor Lisa Jiampetti is a lifelong public servant who is always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Lisa is currently serving her third term as mayor of Egg Harbor City. Prior to her mayorship, Lisa served as a City Councilwoman for six years. Under her leadership, Egg Harbor City has become cleaner and safer. From revitalizing the Egg Harbor City Lake, adding new schools, businesses, and housing, to enhancing recreation and strengthening the community, Egg Harbor City is a better place to live and raise a family.

Lisa served as a manager for Wawa for 12 years. She also held the position of after-school programs coordinator/director at the Egg Harbor City Community School and Charles L. Spragg School. Now, Lisa works as the office manager/recreation director at the Towne of Historic Smithville Community Association.

Lisa’s volunteer work has included serving as president of the Atlantic County Mayors Association, president of the Egg Harbor City Cemetery, a member of the Coalition for a Safe Community, a member of the Egg Harbor City Green Team, and as a volunteer as a religious education teacher and with various booster clubs for Absegami and Cedar Creek high schools.

Lisa recently obtained her doctorate in organizational leadership from Stockton University. She and her husband Michael, a New Jersey State Trooper, have three adult children: Ryan, Michael, and Matthew.
